Arctic Odyssey
In the Kingdom of Polar Bear, hidden by the snowy mountains of Svalbard and surrounded by sea ice, arctic species fight for their survival. These images pay homage to the extraordinary animals and the astonishing scenery bathing in arctic light, while also expressing concern for the future. Polar bears, arctic foxes, ptarmigans, walruses, bearded seals and muskox are living under threat. Global warming is melting the sea ice and the Greenland Ice sheet at record speed therefore disturbing the endangered ecosystem of the arctic and bereaving polar bears among many other arctic species of their home.
